Prognostic Factors for Ulnar Neuropathy Recovery

  1. 1.A longer duration of symptoms before surgery is associated with poorer outcomes.

  2. 2.Older age is associated with more severe electrophysiological findings at presentation in cubital tunnel syndrome.

  3. 3.Severe axonal loss on EMG predicts poor postoperative improvement.

  4. 4.The presence of diabetes does not affect the surgical outcomes of ulnar neuropathy.
